Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Katallage Wellness Clinic, 73 Front Street, Shirley, MA
Schedule: Up to 30 hours per week to start with opportunity to Full Time after initial period
Employment Type: Part-time, in-clinic
Position Summary
Katallage Wellness Clinic is seeking a professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinical team. This position is based in our clinic in Shirley, Massachusetts, and supports both direct patient care and essential administrative functions. The nurse will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, including IV therapy administration, patient monitoring, phlebotomy, charting, vital signs, and coordination of clinical operations. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, gentle, patient-centered, have good communication skills, and comfortable working in a collaborative integrative/functional medicine setting. Possess a willingness to learn about integrative/functional medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Administer IV therapies and support infusion services in accordance with clinic protocols and provider orders
- Monitor patients during IV therapy and report any concerns or adverse reactions promptly
- Perform phlebotomy and blood draws safely and accurately
- Obtain and document vital signs
- Prepare patients for clinical encounters and assist providers as needed
- Enter health information into the EMR accurately and in a timely manner
- Complete charting and clinical documentation after patient encounters
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized treatment and patient care areas
- Follow infection control, safety, and clinical sanitation procedures
- Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning all medications and clinical supplies at the time of use and promptly reporting low-stock or missing items

Administrative and Operational Support
- Help coordinate laboratory orders and imaging orders
- Assist with pre-authorizations and related administrative follow-up for insurance
- Support patient scheduling, communication, and coordination of care as needed with front desk staff
Required Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Experience with IV therapy administration and patient monitoring
- Experience with phlebotomy and blood draws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in person at 73 Front Street, Shirley, MA
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an outpatient, integrative, functional medicine, infusion, or wellness clinic setting
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a small practice environment
- Ability to build trusting relationships with patients through compassionate, gentle, and emotionally sensitive communication, particularly when caring for individuals undergoing cancer treatment

Compliance Requirements
- Must maintain all required HIPAA compliance and follow clinic, OSHA, and infection-control policies for the safe preparation and administration of IV therapies, proper handling and disposal of needles and sharps and immediate reporting of any exposure, medication, or safety incident.
- Must follow clinic policies and procedures related to patient privacy, documentation, and workplace safety
- Must maintain professional licensure and any required certifications in good standing
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the clinic during the workday
- Ability to assist with patient care tasks and clinical room setup
- Ability to lift and carry routine clinical supplies
