Nurse, Berelands Care Home
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our team, where you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents. Our nurses are at the heart of our care home, ensuring the highest quality of life for all who call it home.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Berelands for 38.5 hours a week, working Night Shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Essential to creating a positive culture and environment within our care homes.
- Leading the care, lifestyle, and overall wellbeing of our residents.
- Guiding and inspiring our teams to promote personalisation, compassion, and dignity.
- Supporting residents' clinical needs whilst promoting emotional and social wellbeing.
- Encouraging a person-centred approach to all elements of care and support.
- Activities such as care planning, implementing and evaluating; documenting and reporting of care through our Nourish platform.
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues and junior staff.
- Administering medication with the utmost care and attention, following procedures to keep our residents safe.
- Promoting independence and encouraging residents to live with purpose and maintain meaningful connection.

Requirements
- Qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Strong knowledge of professional care standards required by the NMC code of conduct and up-to-date clinical practices.
- Awareness of Health and Safety procedures and ensuring they are followed.
- Ideally, experience in a similar role and in leading a multi-disciplinary team and acting as the Nurse in Charge.
