Nurse Practitioner – Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Animo Sano Psychiatry is a behavioral-health practice dedicated to transforming how children and adolescents receive mental-health care. Through a patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based approach, we deliver high-quality services that truly change young lives. We are thrilled to welcome an inspired Child & Adolescent Nurse Practitioner to our team and broaden access to outstanding care for families across North Carolina. This role is dedicated exclusively to child and adolescent patients and requires the Nurse Practitioner to have prior experience working with these populations.
Responsibilities
- Telehealth and/or in-person psychiatric evaluations and intakes.
- Medication management for children and teens.
- Valid North Carolina medical license
- Provide high-quality, accessible patient care
- Contribute to an organizational culture that recognizes the humanity and dignity of our patients and staff
- Ability to offer appointments before and after school hours when needed
- Team player—open to learning and adopting evidence-based strategies in patient management
