About the Role
An exciting development opportunity has arisen within the Gynaecology Surgical Oncology Team for a 12 Month fixed Term full time Band 6 Gynaecology Clinical Nurse Specialist.
About the Team
Our patients undergo highly specialised and often complex joint surgery in conjunction with the Colorectal, Urology, Gynaecology and Plastic Surgery specialties. Surgery at The Christie is a world leader and national centre for Surgery.
About You
You should be a highly motivated professional with gynaecological surgery and/or oncology experience, who wishes to contribute to the development the nursing team and service utilising their clinical knowledge and specialist nursing skills. You must be a team player with clinical expertise who is driven to improve patient care and experience, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, high-quality care.
Key Requirements
- Excellent demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills
- Evidence of experience in the speciality is desirable
- Excellent organisational and clinical skills relevant to the post
- Ability to act as a positive role model
- Commitment to the on-going development of the service, multidisciplinary team and the wider Greater Manchester Specialist Surgery Services for Gynaecological Cancer
- Evidence of surgical /oncology experience is desirable in this instance
