Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our team, where you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents every day. Our nurses are at the heart of our care home, ensuring the highest quality of life for all who call it home.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Rosepark for 22.5 hours per week to cover day and night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Essential Role: You will be essential to creating a positive culture and environment within our care homes.
  • Care Leadership: You will play a key role in leading the care, lifestyle, and overall wellbeing of our residents while guiding and inspiring our teams to promote personalisation, compassion, and dignity.
  • Support and Mentorship: You will mentor and support colleagues and junior staff, ensuring they are supported, confident, and skilled in their roles.
  • Care Planning: You will engage in care planning, implementing and evaluating care, documenting and reporting of care through our Nourish platform to ensure that each resident's care plan is accurate, personalised, and up to date with all interactions and care needs.
  • Medication Administration: You will administer medication with the utmost care and attention, following procedures to keep our residents safe.
  • Promote Independence: You will promote independence and encourage residents to live with purpose and maintain meaningful connection.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: You will be a qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Knowledge: You will have a strong knowledge of professional care standards required by the NMC code of conduct as well as knowledge of up to date clinical practices.
  • Experience: You will ideally have experience in a similar role and in leading a multi-disciplinary team and acting as the Nurse in Charge.
  • Health and Safety: You will be aware of Health and Safety procedures required in your role as Nurse and ensure they are followed.
