Trilakes Nursery & Preschool
Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm
30 hours per week
Are you organised, friendly and great at keeping things running smoothly?
We are looking for a Nursery Administrator to join our friendly team at Trilakes Nursery & Preschool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, is confident communicating with families and colleagues, and has a real eye for detail. You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day administration of the nursery, helping our team to provide the very best experience for our children and families.
What will you be doing?
As our Nursery Administrator, you will support the nursery with a variety of administrative and organisational tasks, including:
- Welcoming children, families and visitors to the nursery with a warm and friendly approach
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
- Supporting with parent enquiries and general communication
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is kept up to date
- Supporting with children's registrations, bookings and attendance records
- Supporting the management team with general administration
- Ordering and monitoring office and nursery supplies
- Filing, scanning and maintaining confidential records
- Supporting with compliance documentation
- Assisting with staff administration where required
- Helping to ensure the nursery office and administrative systems are organised and efficient

What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using computers and everyday IT systems
- Friendly, approachable and professional
- A confident communicator with parents, children and colleagues
- Able to manage their own workload and prioritise effectively
- Comfortable working in a busy and sometimes fast-paced environment
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential information
- Reliable, flexible and willing to support the wider nursery team
- Someone who takes pride in doing things accurately and efficiently
- Someone who is flexible, approachable and willing to get stuck in, supporting the wider nursery team when needed and being comfortable engaging with and supporting the children where required

Previous nursery or Early Years administration experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential. We would also welcome applications from candidates with strong administration or customer service experience who are looking to bring their skills into an Early Years setting.
