Are you passionate about shaping young minds and fostering a love of learning? Our client, a thriving nursery in the heart of Huyton, Knowsley, is seeking a dedicated and imaginative Nursery Assistant to join their team of skilled early years professionals.
As a Nursery Assistant, you'll be the heart and soul of our vibrant setting, creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where children can flourish. Your role will be to support our highly qualified Lead Practitioners in delivering exceptional care and educational experiences tailored to the unique needs of each child.

As a Nursery Assistant, you'll be an integral part of this journey, working closely with our experienced team to observe, document, and support the individual development of each child in your care.

Qualifications
Join our growing family and embark on a rewarding career path that will challenge and inspire you every day. If you possess the following qualities and qualifications, we'd love to hear from you:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or a related field
- Experience working in an early years setting, preferably in a Nursery Assistant or similar role
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- A genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of young children
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to further your early years knowledge and skills

Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Practitioners in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children
- Observe and monitor the progress of children, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for further support or challenge
- Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment by following all health, safety, and hygiene protocols
- Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families, fostering a sense of trust and open communication
- Collaborate with the wider nursery team to share best practices, provide feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service
- Undertake any additional duties as required to support the smooth and efficient operation of the nursery
