About The Role
This temporary Nursery Assistant post in Bickley offers £12.71 per hour through Pertemps Croydon. The Role
The successful candidate will support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating nursery environment.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing high-quality care and support to children
- Planning and supporting engaging activities appropriate to children's ages and stages of development
- Supporting children's learning and development
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Building positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues
- Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures

We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Holds a relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 in Early Years/Childcare)
- Is caring, enthusiastic, dependable, and hardworking
- Has a good understanding of safeguarding and the EYFS
- Works well as part of a team
- Is passionate about providing excellent care and learning opportunities for children
- Provide us with contact details going back 5 years, for your references
DBS Requirement
Applicants must have a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to pay for and complete a new enhanced DBS check before commencing employment.
