Location: Islington, North London
Pay: GBP14.25:GBP16.65 per hour
Hours: Flexible shifts to suit your availability
Are you a qualified Nursery Assistant looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? We are recruiting caring and enthusiastic Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Assistants to work on an ad:hoc basis in a welcoming and well-established nursery setting in Islington.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Nursery Assistant who enjoys variety, wants complete flexibility over their working week, and is passionate about supporting young children during the most important stages of their development.
The Role
As a Nursery Assistant, You Will
- Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-4 years
- Create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive
- Assist with play-based learning and age-appropriate activities
- Support daily routines including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For
We're Looking For a Nursery Assistant Who Has
- A CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A warm, caring and energetic approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's early learning and development
