£26,437 – £30,410 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience and qualifications

11am–3pm, Monday to Friday

Our Dicky Birds Nursery in Claremont Road is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis. Working 11am–3pm, Monday to Friday, you will play an important role in supporting the children and team during the busy lunchtime period.
You will help provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children can enjoy their day, build confidence, and continue to learn and develop.

What will you be doing
- Supporting children during lunchtime and helping to ensure their safety and wellbeing
- Assisting with mealtimes and encouraging positive eating habits
- Supporting children with their daily routines and personal care needs
- Helping to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Supporting children's learning and development through play and everyday activities
- Working closely with the nursery team to provide high-quality care
- Building positive and professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Following the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

What we're looking for
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
- A caring, enthusiastic, and positive approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- An understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
