Nursery Bank Staff - Zero-hours contract

Locations: Earlsfield, Wandsworth, Clapham Junction, Maida Vale.

£12.80 per hour

At Abacus Ark, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Bank Staff to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily routines in line with EYFS
  • Supervise children indoors and outdoors
  • Encourage learning through play-based activities
  • Support children’s development and confidence
  • Maintain a safe, positive, inclusive environment
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team
  • Use initiative to ensure children have a fun and safe experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone caring, patient, and enthusiastic
  • Passion for working with children
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Basic understanding of childcare health & safety (desirable)
  • Reliable and professional approach

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Two references
  • Reliable commute, willingness to travel to other sites when needed

Although this is a 0-hour contract, someone who is able to work 2-3 days a week.
