About the Role:
This role would suit anybody that has experience as a Chef or Kitchen Assistant.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene/Food Safety
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen
- Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)

Duties:
- Provide high-quality assistance to the Kitchen team in preparing nutritious meals for children aged 0-5
- Assist with in-room lunch service and food-based activities, ensuring they are stimulating and engaging
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Collaborate with other staff members to support children's individual needs
- Assist with ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children and staff
