Salary £26,437 - £30,701 (depending on experience and qualifications with regular pay reviews)

At West Finchley Nursery & Preschool, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Chef to join our friendly team.
As our Nursery Chef, you will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious and delicious meals and snacks for the children each day. You will play an important role in supporting the health, wellbeing and development of the children through the food you prepare.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals and snacks each day
- Creating varied menus suitable for different ages and stages
- Catering for children with allergies and individual dietary requirements
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, health and safety
- Managing food preparation, stock and ordering
- Working within the nursery’s food and hygiene policies
- Building positive relationships with the children and wider nursery team
- Encouraging children to develop a positive relationship with food

What we’re looking for
You will have a passion for cooking and enjoy creating healthy and varied meals for children.
You will have good knowledge of food hygiene and allergen awareness, with experience working in a professional kitchen. Most importantly, you will be organised, reliable and passionate about providing children with nutritious and enjoyable meals.
