Deputy Nursery Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 p.a.
Hours: Dependent on the right person
Location: Reading
Job Type: Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join a growing nursery group as they open a brand-new setting in Reading. This is your chance to be part of an exciting new chapter, helping establish a positive culture, support a new team, and provide outstanding care and education from the very beginning.
The Role
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Help recruit, mentor, and develop the team
- Lead by example to maintain high standards of care and education
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS requirements are consistently met
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Support with occupancy growth and the successful launch of the new setting

Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Previous experience in a senior nursery role
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Passionate about delivering outstanding childcare
