Nursery Growth & Operations Manager
Helping our nursery grow, thrive and deliver an exceptional experience for every child and family.
Location: Wembley Park Montessori, HA9 0BU
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Reports to: Nursery Headteacher / Quality Director
About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Nursery Growth & Operations Manager to join our team and play an important role in the continued growth and success of our day nursery.
This is a varied and exciting role for someone who enjoys people, organisation, marketing, recruitment, and creating an outstanding nursery environment. You will work closely with the nursery leadership team, helping to ensure that the nursery runs smoothly behind the scenes while also supporting its growth and reputation within the local community.
No two days will be exactly the same. One day you might be following up an enquiry or preparing for a viewing, and the next you could be supporting recruitment, checking staff compliance, coordinating CPD, or developing our social media presence.
We are looking for someone who is warm, enthusiastic, commercially aware, highly organised, and not afraid to take ownership.
Your Key Responsibilities
Nursery Growth & Marketing
- Support the growth of the nursery through creative marketing and community engagement.
- Develop prospectuses, marketing emails, and promotional materials that showcase what makes our nursery special.
- Manage and develop our social media presence, creating engaging content that reflects nursery life.
- Follow up enquiries promptly and professionally, helping prospective families feel welcomed and valued.
- Support the nursery viewing process, ensuring the nursery is beautifully presented and ready to impress.
- Carry out follow-up calls with prospective families following visits and enquiries.
- Help develop ideas that increase enquiries, visits, and enrolments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
