Are you someone who takes pride in creating beautifully clean, organised and welcoming spaces?

At Nurtured Childcare, we’re looking for a meticulous, hardworking and environmentally conscious Housekeeper to join our nursery family in Skelmanthorpe. Housekeeper

📍 Location: Nurtured Childcare, Wakefield
🕘 Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday
⏰ Working times: Before nursery opens or after 5:45pm

Why Join Nurtured Childcare?

At Nurtured Childcare, we believe that our environments should be clean, safe, welcoming and inspiring places for children, families and colleagues.

We’re passionate about sustainability and take a different approach to cleaning. We don’t use toxic chemicals in our nurseries, instead using environmentally friendly alternatives that provide a more sustainable approach while reducing chemical exposure.

You’ll be joining a team that takes pride in supporting one another, where everyone is encouraged to muck in and help make our nurseries the best they can be!

The Role:

As our Housekeeper, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a clean, hygienic and beautifully presented nursery environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Complete day-to-day cleaning across the nursery.
  • Carry out monthly deep cleans to maintain our high standards.
  • Dust, polish and maintain surfaces throughout the nursery.
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum floors, ensuring they are clean and safe.
  • Manage laundry and ensure items are cleaned and stored appropriately.
  • Ensure cleaning materials and products are stored safely and correctly.
  • Monitor and manage cleaning stock levels.
  • Support the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products and sustainable cleaning practices.
  • Help create and maintain a welcoming environment for children, families and colleagues.
  • Support the wider nursery team when needed – because at Nurtured Childcare, we all muck in!

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
