Eligibility
The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment. Please note that this role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
Role Overview
This position is essential in maintaining high standards of hygiene across the nursery and supporting the Chef with meal service. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing kitchen duties and ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment for children and staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Chef during meal service by assisting with food preparation and delivering meals to the rooms.
- Wash and sanitise kitchenware, including dishes, utensils, and food preparation areas.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist with keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with nursery policies.
- Support the safe storage of food and kitchen supplies.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and parents.
- Previous experience in a kitchen assistant role (preferred).
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations (or willingness to undertake training).
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum
