Nursery Manager

Nursery Manager

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our warm, welcoming and nurturing nursery. Our children thrive, our staff feel valued, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care and education. We are looking for a strong leader who shares our commitment to excellence and child-centred learning.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about leading teams, maintaining high standards of practice and supporting children, families and staff to thrive.

Your Main Role and Responsibilities

As a Nursery Manager, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding early years care and education
  • Ensure the nursery operates in line with the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
  • Support, develop and motivate staff through strong leadership and guidance
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery ensuring high standards of care and safety
  • Monitor children’s learning and development to ensure high-quality practice
  • Work with the wider leadership team to support the continued growth and success of the nursery

What We Are Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
  • Previous leadership or management experience within an early years setting
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality childcare and education
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
