Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Nursery Manager role based in Glasgow. The Nursery Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children and a positive workplace for team members. Responsibilities include:

- Leading and developing the nursery team
- Managing staffing and schedules
- Maintaining regulatory compliance, including safeguarding and health and safety standards
- Monitoring educational quality and supporting curriculum delivery
- Building strong relationships with families through clear, supportive communication
- Managing budgeting, occupancy, and reporting
- Contributing to ongoing improvement and alignment with SADCO Nursery Group standards and values

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of nursery operations and early years settings, including practical experience in Nursery and Nursery Management
- Proven understanding and application of safeguarding principles, including Safeguarding and Safeguarding Children responsibilities
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with children, families, and colleagues
- Relevant childcare or early years qualification (e.g., SVQ, HNC, or equivalent) and up-to-date knowledge of local regulatory requirements
- Experience leading teams, supporting staff development, and managing performance in an early years environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records
- Commitment to inclusive, child-centered practice and to continuous improvement in educational quality and care standards
