Role Description
The Nursery Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in South Woodham Ferrers. The Nursery Manager oversees the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Responsibilities include:

- Leading and supporting the staff team
- Managing nursery operations
- Maintaining compliance with safeguarding and early years regulations
- Overseeing curriculum planning and delivery

Qualifications
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience, including Safeguarding and Safeguarding Children skills.
- Experience in early years settings, including Nursery and Nursery Management expertise.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and staff.
- Recognized childcare or early years qualification (e.g., Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a nursery or early years environment.
- Solid understanding of early years frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., EYFS, Ofsted standards).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced childcare setting.
- All candidates require 3 years of satisfactory references and a clear enhanced DBS.
