Role: Nursery Manager
Location: Gloucestershire (Commutable from Bristol, South Gloucestershire)
Salary: £50,000 per annum (Plus benefits)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Nursery Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a thriving early years setting?
Education People are working with a well-established nursery in Gloucestershire that is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, quality, and development of the setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious early years professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes for children and creating a positive environment for both staff and families.
The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the effective operation of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing strong leadership and direction to the nursery team.
- Ensuring children receive high-quality care, education, and development opportunities.
- Leading and supporting staff through effective supervision, mentoring, and professional development.
- Maintaining a strong safeguarding culture and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
- Working closely with parents and carers to build positive and trusting relationships.
- Ensuring the nursery meets all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Monitoring and maintaining high standards of practice across the setting.
- Managing staffing, rotas, resources, and the day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Supporting continuous improvement and contributing to the future development of the setting.
- Promoting an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or similar senior early years leadership position.
- Holds a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
- Has experience leading, motivating, and developing a team.
- Is confident managing the operational requirements of a busy nursery.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organized, proactive, and able to make sound decisions.
- Is passionate about providing the highest possible standards of care and education.
- Can build strong relationships with children, parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
