Nursery Manager

Magic Tree Nursery at Belmont Grosvenor School

An exceptional opportunity to lead a thriving Nursery into its next exciting chapter.

Magic Tree Nursery, part of the vibrant and welcoming Belmont Grosvenor School community, is looking for an exceptional Nursery Manager to lead our thriving Early Years provision.

This is much more than a day-to-day management role. We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and inspirational Early Years professional, who will bring energy, warmth and creative vision to our Nursery, while ensuring that every child receives an outstanding start to their educational journey.

Our Nursery sits at the heart of Belmont Grosvenor School and provides a nurturing, stimulating and happy environment in which children are encouraged to explore, grow in confidence and develop a genuine love of learning, rooted within the vision and values of the school, together with our incredible buildings and natural landscape.

The opportunity

As Nursery Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real and lasting impact.

Working closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team, you will lead the strategic and operational development of Magic Tree Nursery, building on its existing strengths, while bringing your own creative ideas and ambitions for the future.

You will lead and inspire a committed team of Early Years practitioners, champion the highest standards of care and education, and ensure that our children remain at the centre of everything we do.

You will also play an important role in strengthening relationships with families, developing our Nursery community and helping to ensure that Magic Tree Nursery continues to be a first-choice setting for families in the local area.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Holds a relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above, with a higher-level qualification desirable;
  • Has significant Early Years experience, including leadership or management responsibility;
  • Has strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and relevant regulatory requirements;
  • Can lead, motivate and develop a team, creating a positive culture in which colleagues feel valued and empowered;
  • Combines excellent organisational and operational skills with creativity, warmth and ambition;
  • Is confident managing the demands of a busy Nursery environment;
  • Builds strong, trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues;
  • Brings a visible, approachable and values-led leadership style; and
  • Is excited by the opportunity to develop the Nursery, introduce new ideas and drive continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
