About Us

At The Learning Experience, we create inspiring nurseries where children can learn, play and grow. Our purpose-built settings and supportive teams provide the best start for young learners.

We’re now looking for a Nursery Manager to lead our East Finchley nursery, ensuring outstanding standards, compliance, and growth.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will:

  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team of early years professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards.
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead.
  • Manage nursery operations, including staffing, ratios and rotas.
  • Drive occupancy, parent satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Build trusted relationships with families, staff, and external partners.
  • Recruit and support the team

About You

Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing an early years setting.
  • Proven success in leading a nursery rated Good or Outstanding.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, child protection and health & safety.
  • Leadership skills with experience in team development and performance management.
  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
  • Level 2 Maths Qualification
  • Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding training.

Desirable:

  • Experience in budget management and staff deployment.
  • Coaching/mentoring experience.
  • Degree in Early Childhood Studies, EYTT or QTS.
