Nursery Manager

Grange Park Prep School & Nursery

Contract: Permanent | Full Time | All Year Round
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + Performance Bonus
Start Date: ASAP

Grange Park Prep School & Nursery is entering an exciting new phase of growth as our nursery has now successfully transitioned to an all year round provision. We are looking for an exceptional Nursery Manager to lead the nursery through this exciting period and help shape its future success.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step. Working closely with the Headteacher and supported by the Inspired Learning Group, you will play a key role in driving occupancy, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring our children receive the very best start to their learning journey.

We are looking for a passionate leader who can inspire staff, build strong relationships with families, and drive excellence across every aspect of nursery life.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of our growing nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding and customer experience.

You will:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated Early Years team.
  • Drive the continued growth and success of our all year round nursery.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of childcare, learning and safeguarding.
  • Oversee nursery occupancy and support business growth initiatives.
  • Develop and support staff through coaching, mentoring and training.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS and regulatory requirements.
  • Create a positive, nurturing and ambitious culture for staff and families.

What We're Looking For:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 4, 5 or 6 desirable).
  • Recent experience within a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or senior leadership role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS Framework and statutory guidance.
  • Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding learning experiences for young children.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
  • A strong understanding of nursery operations, occupancy and team development.
  • A proactive and positive approach to leading change and growth.
