Nursery Manager - Partou Chapel House Day Nursery & Pre-School, West Norwood
Salary - £48,000 per annum plus performance related bonus

Partou is looking for an inspirational Nursery Manager to lead our wonderful Chapel House Day Nursery & Pre-School in West Norwood. Nestled within a beautiful converted chapel, our nursery benefits from bright, spacious learning environments, large playrooms with high ceilings, and one of the largest nursery gardens in the local area, creating an inspiring space for children and colleagues to thrive.
As Nursery Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a passionate team, drive outstanding practice, and create an environment where children, families, and colleagues feel valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
About Chapel House
Located just minutes from West Norwood town centre and railway station, Chapel House is a well-established nursery offering exceptional care and education for children aged 0-5 years. The nursery is known for its spacious indoor and outdoor environments, strong parent partnerships, freshly prepared healthy meals, and child-centred approach to learning.

The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will:
- Provide inspiring leadership to the nursery team.
- Create a positive culture focused on excellence in Early Years education and care.
- Drive high standards across safeguarding, compliance, health and safety, and operational performance.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team through coaching, support, and effective performance management.
- Ensure the nursery delivers a consistently outstanding experience for every child.
- Manage occupancy, budgets, and commercial performance while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
- Champion Partou's values of care, compassion, and continuous learning.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above desirable).
- Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or equivalent leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
- A proven track record of leading successful teams and delivering high-quality childcare.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets, occupancy, and nursery performance.
- A passion for delivering outstanding outcomes for children and families.
