Nursery Manager – Hazebrouck Day Nursery

Location: Hazebrouck Day Nursery Salary: £41,500–43,880 (depending on experience, 45-hour week) Hours: 40–45 per week

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our warm, welcoming, and nurturing day nursery. At our Hazebrouck nursery, children thrive, staff feel valued, and we deliver high-quality care and education.

Your Main Responsibilities
As Nursery Manager, you will:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver outstanding early years care and education
- Ensure all activities comply with the EYFS framework and safeguarding regulations
- Develop, support, and motivate staff with strong leadership and mentorship
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and the local community
- Oversee daily nursery operations while maintaining high standards of care and safety
- Monitor children’s learning and development to maintain best-in-class practice
- Collaborate with wider leadership to drive continuous improvement and growth for the nursery

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a candidate with:
✔ Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or above) ✔ A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices ✔ Previous leadership or management experience in an early years setting ✔ Excellent communication and team leadership skills ✔ Empathy and dedication to high-quality childcare and education ✔ A stadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young children
