Salary

£50,000 to £55,000 (dependent on experience and hours worked)

Hours

40-45 hours per week including a 45-minute paid lunch break


About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our warm, welcoming and nurturing nursery. With 120 settings, Bramley Wood in Bracknell operates as part of a well-established management team, including an assistant manager, deputy manager and two assistant deputies, creating an environment where:

Your Main Role and Responsibilities

As the Nursery Manager, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding early years care and education
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
  • Support, develop and motivate staff through strong leadership and guidance
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community
  • Oversee daily nursery operations, maintaining high standards of care and safety
  • Monitor children’s learning and development to ensure best practice
  • Collaborate with the nursery’s leadership team to drive ongoing growth and success

Requirements

To be considered, you should have:

✔ Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent/higher) ✔ Strong understanding of EYFS framework and safeguarding best practices ✔ Previous leadership/management experience within an early years setting ✔ Excellent communication and team leadership skills ✔ A deep commitment to high-quality childcare and child welfare ✔ A dedication to safeguarding and promoting children’s well-being
