Location: Thames Ditton Salary: £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 per-annum Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you have the leadership skills to inspire a dedicated team? Little Bears Day-Care is looking for an exceptional Nursery Manager to join our team!

In this role, you will provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for the children in our setting. We're looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, has strong leadership abilities, and is committed to creating an enabling and nurturing space where children can play, learn, and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of childcare.
  • Manage and support a team of staff, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and carers to ensure a welcoming, inclusive setting.
  • Monitor and enhance the quality of provision, ensuring policies, procedures, and best practices are upheld.
  • Take responsibility for financial management, occupancy levels, and meeting set targets.
  • Lead on planning and organizing engaging daily activities that promote child development.
  • Be responsible for key children, including observations, assessments, and individual learning plans.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and high-quality environment that meets all health and safety requirements.
  • Liaise with external agencies and professionals as needed to support children's development.
  • Support staff development through training and performance monitoring.

  • A passionate, dedicated, and experienced childcare professional.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in a nursery or early years setting.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of care and education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, staff, and parents.
  • A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
