32.5 hours a week term time plus Inset Days

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm

Required from January 2027

Fixed Term to 21st July 2027

Our warm and welcoming village school nursery is seeking a strong, dynamic, and inspiring Nursery Manager to lead our early years provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic professional who is passionate about giving young children the very best start in life.

About The Role

As our Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning environment, supporting staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care and education. You will lead a small, dedicated team and work closely with the school leadership to maintain our nurturing, community-focused ethos. You will be in ratio, working directly with your team and the children, for the majority of your days with dedicated time given once a week for planning and preparation.

  • Lead daily operations to ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Provide strong leadership to inspire and motivate staff
  • Oversee curriculum planning in line with the EYFS framework
  • Ensure safeguarding excellence and compliance with statutory requirements
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider school community
  • Manage administrative duties including staffing, attendance patterns, funding and invoicing paperwork, equipment orders, and record-keeping

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A dynamic and confident leader with the ability to inspire a team
  • Experienced in early years leadership, ideally within a nursery or school setting
  • Qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years (Level 5+ desirable)
  • Knowledgeable about the EYFS, safeguarding, and best practice in early childhood education
  • Passionate about creating a joyful, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children

We are a small village school with 149 children on roll in our nursery and main school and are proud to be part of Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust.
