Nursery Manager
Fulham, London | £45,510 - £59,530 + Bonus + Benefits
We are recruiting for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a large nursery setting in Fulham. This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of the setting, lead and develop a strong team, drive quality and make a real impact on the nursery's performance.
About the Nursery
- The nursery is based within a stunning traditional building with large windows, creating a bright and welcoming environment.
- The setting also benefits from a large garden with cycling tracks, providing excellent outdoor space for children.
- Located just five minutes from Imperial Wharf station and close to Fulham Broadway, the nursery is easily accessible for staff and families.
- The nursery was rated Good by Ofsted in October 2023.
The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, developing and retaining your team
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and quality
- Driving continuous improvement and strong Early Years practice
- Preparing the team for Ofsted and developing their confidence
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Supporting recruitment and developing future leaders
- Driving occupancy and commercial performance
- Managing staffing and costs effectively
- Working closely with your Regional Director and wider support teams

About You
We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager or senior Early Years leader with:
- Strong people management and leadership experience
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted
- Recent Ofsted inspection experience
- Experience driving quality improvement
- Strong understanding of Early Years practice
- A relevant Early Years qualification
Whether you have experience turning around a challenging setting or maintaining a high-performing nursery, we're interested in managers who can demonstrate strong leadership and deliver results.
