Godolphin was founded 300 years ago. It joined United Learning in May 2024 and became a co-educational senior school in September 2025. Chafyn Grove School was founded 146 years ago and joined United Learning in May 2025. Both schools have strong reputations serving generations of local families whilst providing boarding facilities for pupils from both the UK and overseas.

As one school, Chafyn-Godolphin School will provide an excellent education for children from three years old in nursery up to the age of 18. From September 2026, the school will be fully merged as Chafyn-Godolphin School operating across the current Chafyn and Godolphin sites.

About United Learning

United Learning is a large and growing group of schools aiming to offer a life-changing education to children and young people across England. United Learning is now a diverse nationwide group of over 95 state and 14 independent schools, each with its own unique character and ethos. While the founding independent school group is now smaller than the academies side, the Group is very much a partnership of equals and the fundamental aims are the same beginning with excellence in education for children and young people.

As part of United Learning, Chafyn-Godolphin can offer more to staff, pupils and the wider community than it could provide as a standalone school. With common back office systems for finance, HR and management information as well as central procurement, specialist estate management and HR support, United Learning offers efficiency and effectiveness while also adding significant value in supporting schools and helping them to accelerate progress.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
