Zero2Five is recruiting for a high-quality private EYFS nursery based near Queens Park, caring for children aged 1:4 in a warm, welcoming home-from-home environment.

If you're a passionate Nursery Nurse who wants to make a real difference to children's early years, we'd love to hear from you.

The role

  • Provide high-quality physical, emotional, social and intellectual care.
  • Support children's learning, development, play and exploration.
  • Plan and follow the daily routine within the base room.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Carry out clear observations, assessments and reports.
  • Support children with SEND and behavioural needs.
  • Extend children's thinking, ideas and learning through purposeful interactions.
  • Model positive behaviour and help children overcome challenges and misconceptions.
  • Work confidently with individuals and small groups.
  • Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, equality, confidentiality and data protection procedures.
  • Promote an inclusive environment where every child's rights and wellbeing are respected.

What we're looking for

  • Relevant Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner.
  • Experience supporting children aged 0:5, including one-to-one and small-group work.
  • Understanding of child development, learning and behaviour.
  • Experience supporting children with SEND.
  • Experience communicating with parents and families.
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A genuine passion for helping young children learn, grow and thrive.
  • A positive, reliable and collaborative approach to teamwork.
