Role Description
This full-time Nursery Practitioner role is an on-site position based in Mark Cross. The Nursery Practitioner will support the daily care, education, and wellbeing of children, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and setting up stimulating, age-appropriate activities.

- Supervising play
- Supporting learning and development
- Observing and recording children’s progress
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
The role involves building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, contributing to planning, attending team meetings, and following safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Relevant childcare qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent, and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Experience working with babies and young children in a nursery or early years setting, with skills in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Awareness of safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety practices, with a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, show initiative, and manage time and responsibilities effectively.
- Paediatric first aid training and food hygiene certification are beneficial.
- Flexibility to work across age groups and adapt to changing needs within the nursery.
