Nursery Practitioner | Redbridge | ASAP

Are you a qualified Nursery Practitioner looking to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Redbridge?

We are working with a Good-rated primary school seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to become part of a diverse and inclusive school community committed to helping children become confident, resilient and enthusiastic learners.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will work alongside the class teacher and wider EYFS team to support children's learning, development and wellbeing. The successful Nursery Practitioner will help create an engaging, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

  • Supporting children aged 3-4 throughout the Nursery setting
  • Working alongside the teacher and wider team as a proactive Nursery Practitioner
  • Encouraging children's social, emotional, physical and communication development
  • Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and independence
  • Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment as a Nursery Practitioner
  • Supporting observations and children's ongoing development
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and the wider school team

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential depending on experience
  • Previous experience working with children in an Early Years or Nursery setting
  • A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for Early Years education and child development
  • A commitment to safeguarding and children's wellbeing
