Passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Wanted - Support Early Years Across Huddersfield!
Are you an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who loves helping little learners thrive?
Stafflex Education is looking for passionate and flexible Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our supply team, supporting a range of welcoming nurseries and early years settings across Huddersfield this Autumn term.
Whether you're looking for day-to-day flexibility, short-term assignments or longer-term placements, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to young children's lives while enjoying flexibility around your own commitments.
About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Deliver high-quality care, learning and play for children aged 0-5 years
- Support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and creativity
- Support daily routines, including feeding, changing and sleep/nap times
- Encourage children's language, social, emotional and physical development through play and exploration
- Work collaboratively with nursery staff to meet each child's individual needs
- Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families
- Follow nursery policies and maintain high standards of safeguarding and child welfare at all times

Requirements
- Essential: Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and children's development
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development
- A kind, patient and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Satisfactory references and completion of Stafflex's required safeguarding checks
