Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

Location: Ridgeway, The Thicket, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 3QE

Salary: £32,000 gross per annum

Claires Court - Required August/September 2026

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for two level three Nursery Practitioner working with children ages 2 - 4. This is an all year round post, working 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday at The Thicket, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 3QE.

You will support the delivery of structured play and learning in a safe, engaging environment, helping children develop through a range of activities. The role also includes supporting Extended Day Care when required.

About Claires Court

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times
  • Encourage learning through play and engaging activities
  • Support children with meals, snacks, and personal hygiene
  • Observe and record children’s development
  • Prepare and maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment
  • Ensure equipment is safe, clean, and age-appropriate
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Attend meetings, training, and support Extended Day Care

Person Specification

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Early Years
  • Experience in an early years setting
  • Good level of English and numeracy
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive, reliable, and proactive approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
