Salary £26,437 - £27,227 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications with regular pay reviews)

Our Dicky Birds Nursery and Preschool on Pepys Road in Raynes Park is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

What Will You Be Doing?
- Provide high-quality care and support to children throughout the day
- Take responsibility as key person for designated children
- Build strong and positive relationships with children and their families
- Support children's learning and development through engaging activities and experiences
- Prepare and support activities based on children's interests and individual needs
- Ensure all children receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Contribute to observations, assessments and planning
- Work as part of a supportive and dedicated nursery team
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and safeguarding
- Contribute to ensuring practice and provision meets the requirements of the EYFS
- Provide professional and relevant feedback to parents and carers
- Support the nursery's curriculum and daily routines

What We’re Looking For
- A recognised Level 2 Early Years qualification
- A genuine passion for working with children
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
- Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- A willingness to learn and develop your early years career
