Belmont Farm Nursery School provides outstanding childcare from an outdoors, holistic perspective, focusing on child-led learning and authentic self-expression. Role Description
The Nursery Practitioner is a full-time, on-site role based in Mill Hill, responsible for delivering high-quality, child-centered care and education. Day-to-day activities include:

- Planning and implementing age-appropriate, child-led learning experiences
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment both indoors and outdoors
- Observing and documenting children’s progress
- Communicating clearly with families about their child’s development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of practice
- Contributing to maintaining nursery routines
- Supporting mealtimes and personal care
- Promoting the nursery’s holistic ethos and values

Qualifications
- Relevant early years qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years Education) and up-to-date knowledge of early years frameworks.
- Experience in child-led learning, planning engaging activities, and supporting holistic development in an early years setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and best practices for creating a nurturing, inclusive environment.
- Ability to work confidently in an outdoor learning environment and promote independence, curiosity, and life skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and wellbeing; pediatric first aid training is an advantage.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo necessary background and reference checks.
