Join our vibrant team at Banana Moon Day Nurseries as a Nursery Room Leader!

We pride ourselves on providing a warm, nurturing environment that encourages children to learn and develop through play. As a Nursery Room Leader, you will take charge of your designated room, guiding our children's early educational experiences and fostering individual growth.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Planning innovative learning activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Supporting and mentoring staff
  • Ensuring a safe and engaging environment
  • Cultivating strong partnerships with families, keeping them informed and involved in their child's learning journey

Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in an early years setting, with some previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development principles
  • Strong communication skills for building relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team, providing support and guidance to staff
  • Commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
  • Passion for working with children and a drive to provide excellent standards of care and education
