At Banana Moon Day Nurseries

We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join our vibrant team. In this dynamic role, you will lead a room of children, guiding their development through engaging play and educational activities in a safe and nurturing environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and implementing the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum
  • Assessing children's progress
  • Supporting your team to ensure high standards of care and education
  • Fostering strong relationships with children, parents, and staff, creating a collaborative atmosphere that prioritizes each child's well-being and enjoyment

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an early years setting, with leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development milestones
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and supervise a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • A passion for early years education and a commitment to providing high-quality care
