Role - Nursery Room Leader
Salary: £27,664-£29,536 (Depending on Experience and Qualifications, with Regular Pay Reviews)
Type – Full Time
Myn has just signed a partnership agreement with one of the leading operators of nurseries across the UK. We are now hiring for Nursery Managers for multiple locations in Portsmouth, UK.

Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties:
- Minimum of 2–3 years' experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Prior experience in a senior, supervisory, or room leader role preferred
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and current childcare legislation
- Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Safeguarding/Child Protection training
- Strong understanding of child development stages and safe practices
- Experience conducting observations, assessments, and progress reports
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with children, parents, and staff
- Enhanced DBS check (or equivalent background check) required
- Leadership or team management experience is an advantage

What You Will Be Doing
- Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
- Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
- Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
- Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
- Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents and carers about their child
- Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
- Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
- Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
