Nursery Teaching Assistant Level 3

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive Early Years team.

At Oakmeadow CE Primary and Nursery School, we are committed to helping children dream, grow and achieve together, providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. As part of our Nursery team, you will support children aged 3 to 5 years, helping to create engaging learning experiences that promote curiosity, independence and a love of learning.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification suitable for EYFS staff:child ratios.
  • Has experience working with children aged 3 to 5 years.
  • Understands the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and child development.
  • Can support learning through play and deliver small group and one-to-one interventions.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to ensuring the best outcomes for all children.

What we offer:

  • NJC Grade 6 SCP 7-11 (£13.26-£14.14 per hour, pay award pending).
  • 27.5 hours per week, term time only.
  • Fixed-term contract until 23rd July 2027 in the first instance.
