Nursery Team Leader
Location: Haslemere - GU21 2AT
Positions Available:
We have two openings for the role of Nursery Team Leader:

Maternity Cover Contract
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Salary: Up to £31,886.40 per annum
-
Permanent (Part-Time)
- Hours: 27 hours per week (08:00-18:00, Wednesday to Friday)
- Salary: Up to £21,523.32 per annum
About the Role
You will lead with kindness, confidence, and creativity, motivating your team to deliver outstanding care and learning for every child. The ideal candidate will:
- Inspire and lead a team with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Have deep knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted standards, and health and safety requirements
- Foster a safe, happy, and high-quality learning environment for children

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the EYFS framework is implemented consistently and to the highest standard
- Provide day-to-day leadership and team management across the nursery
- Oversee social media and marketing activities as required

Nestled in a historic former schoolhouse, our spacious, inviting nursery offers:

Established in 1993, Toad Hall Nursery Group now operates 14 nurseries, supporting 1,100 children daily with a staff of 440+.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Candidates must demonstrate the following:
- A valid, full-level Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS guidelines and Ofsted inspection framework
- Proven people management and ability to handle staff issues
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Working-level knowledge of employment legislation, including equality initiatives
- Certification in safeguarding and paediatric first aid
