Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Downend is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Third in Charge to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting, and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.
Your role whilst Third in Charge and a key part of the management team will also be working within a room and managing this too.

About Our Nursery
All the rooms at our nursery are bright and airy, with age-appropriate resources that create an inclusive environment and support independent exploration. The colours are calm and natural, with high-quality wooden resources to encourage open-ended play.

Downstairs, the Bumblebees room for babies and the Butterflies room for toddlers both have free-flow access to their own gardens with decking and grass, allowing safe outdoor exploration. Upstairs, the Dragonflies room for preschool-aged children offers activities that develop essential skills for primary school, supporting cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
We also have a sensory room accessible to all ages, providing a calming space to explore different sensory experiences. Transitions between rooms happen when children are ready, ensuring each child feels safe, nurtured, and inspired.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supervising and supporting children at all times.
- Preparing and supporting activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners.
- Maintaining a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment.
- Following company policies, safeguarding procedures, and operational practices.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Attending staff meetings, planning sessions, and training as required.
