Role Description

This hands-on role based in Chichester involves providing person-centered care and support to individuals in their homes and local community. Day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Assisting with personal care
  • Medication administration
  • Mobility support
  • Monitoring health and wellbeing in line with care plans

Team members are expected to follow all regulatory, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements while representing Prestige Nursing & Care’s values and standards.

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional qualification such as Registered Nurse (NMC), Nursing Associate, Healthcare Assistant, or equivalent care certificate; experience in community, home care, or clinical settings is highly beneficial.
  • Strong clinical and caregiving skills, including personal care, medication support, monitoring vital signs, and responding appropriately to changes in health and wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with people receiving care, families, and colleagues, including clear record-keeping and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within nurse-led and multidisciplinary teams, while also managing responsibilities independently and using sound judgment.
  • Commitment to person-centered care, safeguarding, dignity, and respect, with a compassionate approach to supporting diverse individuals and their needs.
  • Reliable, well-organised, and able to manage time effectively, including flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and evenings as required.
  • Knowledge of relevant care standards, health and safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements; ongoing willingness to undertake training and development.
  • Right to work in the UK and satisfactory background checks; a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle in West Sussex is an advantage.
