Healthcare Support Worker - Haematology Department
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker to join our dedicated team within the Haematology Department at Wythenshawe hospital.
This role is covering a five day service working between the hours of 08:00 - 16:00. We promote flexibility and are happy to support different working patterns within the needs of the service.
We will support you with specialist and bespoke training to reach your potential and excel in your chosen career path. You will receive one-to-one clinical support, professional development, and guidance.
In the role as Healthcare Support Worker working without direct supervision, you will be responsible for delivering clinical care for patients in their own home with immediate access to a qualified staff member for advice and direction on care as required.
You will be required to undertake venepuncture, obtain ECGs, and complete observations and document accordingly.
You will be responsible for prioritising your own caseload of work and be responsible for tasks delegated from a registered nurse.
