Nursing Associate Opportunity in Community Nursing Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursing Associate to join our Community Nursing Service in South East and Central Northumberland. The post is to cover a secondment for 12 months.

You will be an integral part of a community nursing team and our registered nurses will support you in delivering planned care to patients which will include wound care regimes, venepuncture, medication administration, catheterisation, and palliative care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountability: Exercise accountability as set out in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
  • Clinical Standards: Work within NHCFT policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure high clinical standards.
  • Nursing Care: Contribute to all nursing care, providing care for people including those with complex needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as a member of the nursing team under the direction of the Registered Nurse to provide and monitor care.
  • Leadership: Role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust.
