Contract: Permanent
Salary: £26,500
Shift Times: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Sunday, covering days, nights, and weekends.

KIMS Hospital has a fantastic opportunity for a strong and empathetic Nursing Associate to join our dedicated Surgical Nursing Team. As a nursing associate you will assist in the day-to-day running of a busy day case list for the whole of the patient journey from admission to discharge. You will be absolutely patient-focused with a collaborative approach to work and a proven desire to deliver healthcare at its very best.
The role will require shift rotation and is for 37.5 hours per week working 12.0 – 12.5 hour shifts covering days and nights Monday – Sunday on a rota basis.
Role Responsibilities Include
- Assessing, planning and delivering care, based on individual patient and visitor needs
- Demonstrating good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions, working within the NMC Code of Conduct
- Maintaining accurate records of patient care
- Working within a team, supervising and directing junior staff
- Demonstrating high standards of integrity and honesty, maintaining patient confidentiality

The Successful Candidate Will
- Be a strong and empathetic Registered Nursing Associate
- Have demonstrable post registration experience
- Have knowledge of clinical governance and its application along with evidence of continuous professional development
- Be an expert in building relationships with the ability to easily engage with consultants, colleagues, and patients
