We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to join our Burns & Plastic Surgery team at Royal Preston Hospital.

We are looking for a qualified Nursing Associate/Assistant Practitioner, who has a passion for providing high-quality patient-focused care for our surgical patients who have a flexible attitude towards work and a desire for new challenges.

  • You will gain valuable experience & will develop wound assessment knowledge and wound care management skills.
  • Pre & Post-operative care for patients who have traumatic injuries such as hand, leg lacerations.
  • As well as breast reconstructive surgery.
  • The knowledge & skills you will gain are transferable to any area of your nursing career.

We are looking for an Assistant Practitioner who has a passion for providing high-quality patient-focused care for our surgical patients who have a flexible attitude towards work and a desire for new challenges. New candidate will gain valuable experience in pre and post-operative care, management of minor burns and specialised wound care. Successful post holder will develop wound assessment knowledge and wound care management skills including Burns Care. These skills are transferable to any area of your nursing career.
