Job Opportunity: Nurse Associate in Children's Community Nursing
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Nurse Associate who has a passion for delivering safe, high-quality care to children and their families in the community.
About the Role
We currently have a vacancy in our Children's Community Nursing team for an enthusiastic Nursing Associate to join our existing team.
Responsibilities
Working as part of the Children's Community Nursing Team you will:
- Develop skills in areas such as sleep studies and enteral feed administration
- Provide wound management and gastrostomy care
- Be key in delivering high-quality patient care in the community
Requirements
Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. Please confirm in your application that you meet the specified criteria.
About the Team
The Children’s Community Specialist Nursing team provides a range of services including:
- Support to colleagues within the primary health care team
- Specialist hospital teams
- Care within the patient’s home
- Care co-ordination
- Post diagnosis and post bereavement support to families, children and young people with a wide variety of conditions

Role Purpose
To work under the direction/delegation of a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to children and support to families on the caseload.
